Information - Student Leadership

At Craigieburn South Primary School we believe it is important for students to articulate their needs and become involved in the decision making process which leads to change in our school culture. Student voice allows students to share who they are, what they believe in, and why they believe what they do. It enables students to feel more valued by allowing them to become partners in school improvement and in the decision making process.

Our Junior School Council for 2024 have been elected by their peers.

Our JSC comprises of:

Year 6 School Leaders – Breanna Paige, Jack Cottrill, Rosemary Daniel, Phillip Pulemagafa, Valentina Masic, TOmmi ROwe, Varshinee Mohan, Aisea Tupou

Year 5 Class Captains - Abel De Giorgio, Seerat Kaur, Anthony Peake, Leanne Yang, Maddox Lingham, Zion Talakai, Nicholas Georgiou, Zahara Taufalele

Our student leaders run whole school assemblies, attend weekly meetings to discuss fundraising initiatives and projects which help to educate our students about school improvement and community issues. They also support our students as peer mediators.
